Larimar is a unique gemstone, currently only found on the popular island destination of the Dominican Republic. The subtle blue gemstone resembles tranquil Caribbean waters, portraying a calm, relaxing feel. The gem was also known by locals as the Atlantis Stone; due to the Dominican Republic once been claimed as part of the lost continent of Atlantis by a wise prophet.
